ABOUT ME
I am a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy's Submarine Fleet as a Missile Technician. I am a native Texan and love video games, art, movies, animation, technology, photography, martial arts, fishing, shooting, and golf.
My main passions in life are games, movies, and martial arts. I recieved my bachelor degree in Game Design from Full Sail University in June 2013. I am currently developing my own games as an indie developer. I have released one game, "Endless Flyer", to the android market and have worked on several unpublished projects. I have also designed a hit game for android, but I was denied credit on it, read the story below.
While in school I designed a game that I hired a company to develop for me. After my initial payment to them, and first milestone was hit, it was clear that they were scamming me. I fired them and started to develop the game on my own. While I was developing my game, the company I hired released a game three months later that had a similar name as mine, and was almost an exact copy of my concept. As this company is in India, I have no way of suing them over it. However instead of being angry about it, I take great pride that my design was worthy enough to steal. The game they stole from me has had over 5,000,000 installs, and they did a sequal that currently has over 10,000,000 installs. So I may not have got any credit, but they know where they got that game design and I take pride in the fact that I created a hit game to be stolen.
Outside of game development, I am beginning my journey as an author. I have release a cook book for kindle and paperback to see how the publishing process worked. Afterwards I wrote a short story and published it to kindle and paperback as well. The purpose of the short story was to receive feedback on my writing from readers in order to be a better story steller. I am currently writing 3 more books that I hope to release soon.
I am currently learning to do voice over acting, cinematography, and photography to also enhance my creative side, and help me be a better game designer.
